History

The Complete Angler is both a dream come true and a lifelong passion for owners Richard and Frances Ann Giron. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay area, fishing was a very important part of Richard's family weekends and vacation pleasures. Learning how to fish when he was 7 years old, he was quickly attracted to fly fishing.

"Borrowing" supplies out of his mother's sewing basket, and feathers from an uncle who was a bird hunter, he taught himself how to tie flies by copying the pictures in the fishing magazines that consumed him then, and still continues to provide for hours of reading enjoyment.

With over 40 years spent in corporate retail/wholesale America as a senior executive, Richard possesses the experience and knowledge that is necessary to make The Complete Angler the destination for anyone who has ever yearned to participate in this quiet sport.

Having fished in some of the most pristine waters in North America and the Caribbean, we have the expertise to provide you with the equipment, supplies and apparel needed to fish in All Waters and All Seasons.

We also realize that the ladies have a keen interest in this wonderful sport and The Complete Angler has a full line of equipment and accessories that is geared to the Lady Angler.
